Posted in January 2012, “Shit White Girls Say…to Black Girls” (SWGSTBG) is a parody of the super viral “Shit Girls Say”. It quickly went viral with over 1 million views in 24 hours and 6 million views in just one week, sparking a global conversation about white privilege and microagressions. SWGSTBG has been featured on Anderson Cooper, MSNBC, ABC, BET, NPR and even inspired MTV’s “Was that racist?” documentary special. It currently has 10 million views, making it the most popular (and controversial) video of my 6 year YouTube career.
