As Chief Talent Officer of Netflix, Patty McCord turned the traditional HR rulebook upside down — a philosophy spelled out in the Netflix Culture Deck that’s been viewed millions of times. But her ideas came from some serious trial and error in the corporate world which pushed her to make not only Netflix, but her industry, better for it.
