The Root 100 Gala Was An Event to Remember

Oh, what a time to be alive!  The Root listed me as one of 100 influential African Americans doing it up for 2017. That was an honor on its own, but actually being surrounded by my peers and colleagues was surreal. The Root 100 Gala was an experience I’ll never forget. And in case you’re wondering, it was lit!
